- Provide expert assessment, support, treatment and evaluation of breast feeding
- Provide support for a range of breastfeeding issues including
- Positioning & Attachment issues
- Sore/damaged nipples
- Delayed lactation/low supply
- Blocked ducts/mastitis
- Thrush
- Suck issues
- Breast refusal
- Previous breast surgery
- Re-lactation
- Suspected tongue tie/lip tie and associated feeding issues
- Follow up via phone/telehealth options available
- Liaison with other professionals as required
- Specialist in babies with complex needs (e.g. Down Syndrome, Ex-Prematurity, Cerebral Palsy etc.)
- Distance consults: national/international telehealth services available (as appropriate)
